A Message from our Clinical Director

October 17, 2017

When individuals with mental and/or substance use disorders seek help from West Michigan CMH, they are met with the knowledge and belief that anyone can recover and/or manage their conditions successfully. We use words to build hope, because hope is the energy that moves transformation forward. We believe in the individual and raise expectations of what they are capable of accomplishing.

“Recovery is a journey of healing and transformation enabling a person with a mental health challenge or substance use disorder to live a meaningful life in a community of his or her choice while striving to achieve his or her full potential.” Federal Definition
