Message from our CEO

Lisa Williams
Chief Executive Officer

Welcome to West Michigan Community Mental Health (WMCMH), where we proudly strive to meet the mental health, substance use disorder, and intellectual and developmental disability needs of the citizens of Lake, Mason, and Oceana Counties.

We believe that strong partnerships with the people and communities we serve have the potential to make a difference in people’s lives forever. Together we have the opportunity every day to renew hope, rebuild lives, and create paths for recovery. It is this opportunity that energizes and drives our diverse organizational team to provide high quality care, look for creative solutions to long-standing problems, and innovate and implement best practice.

Although WMCMH primarily provides services to individuals with Medicaid, we are sometimes able to provide some support to individuals who have private insurance and persistent behavioral health challenges as well. Please contact us so we can assist you in finding the most appropriate services to meet your health and wellness needs and insurance guidelines. If we are not the most appropriate provider, we will connect you with someone in the community who is better suited to meet your needs.

This website is a starting point for you to learn more about who we are and the various services we provide, along with any additional information to support your or your loved one’s recovery journey. Please use the phone numbers provided to call and ask questions or to schedule an appointment to meet with a member of our team.

Whether this is your first visit to WMCMH or you have had other experiences working with our team, we look forward to the opportunity to partner with you as you or your loved one renew, rebuild, and recover!

Sincerely,

Lisa Williams
Executive Director
